The Alabama State and Local Chapters support several missions in the state of Alabama: conservation, habitat improvement, wild turkey research, mentored hunts, shooting sports, scholarships, and other efforts that support the development of new hunters. These accomplishments are funded by Super Fund revenue generated at banquets and fundraising events, and the AL NWTF specialty license plate.

• 145,112 Acres Impacted from Habitat Projects in 2024-25 season

• AL NWTF contributed $143,563 for the 2024-25 project period, which runs from September 1 - August 31, and included 20 projects across the state.

• Investing half a million dollars from partnerships and in-kind funding

• Enhanced over 145,112 acres while providing nesting, brood rearing and foraging habitats critical to help increase the odds of nest initiation, nest success and brood survival.

• Long term impact from equipment that will impact acreage for mulitple years

• Supported partnerships in research of the Wild Turkey in Alabama

• Provided landowner technical assistance and habitat support with the seed subsidy program

• R3 Coordinator for leading hunter Recruitment, Retention, and Reactivation

• Invested over $70,000 in education, outreach and scholarships.
